A group of teenagers come together to indulge in that great Canadian pastime—the house-party—and find themselves literally confined to the kitchen by an extraordinarily well manicured carpet in the living room. Elsewhere, the parents of these kids have a dinner party of their own, where suburban pretense slowly dissolves into childish obsessions.
